I live in Atlantic Canada and Hurricane Earl is headed this way. Usually hurricanes are tropical storms by the time they hit here and thus not so scary, and I live at least an hour from the coast.

However I'm concerned about the high winds - they're calling for 70mph-95mph winds. I live in an apartment building and have an a/c in the window - should I be worried that the wind could rip it out?

We just got HughesNet installed because we forgot to pay our Atlantic Broadband bill & were never contacted about it so they cut us off (phone, cable, & internet) & they wanted $600 to get it set back up. I can get on live but all I can do is message & use facebook so far (supposedly you can get title updates too but I haven't tried yet). I get an error code or a "can't retrieve info" whenever I click something on the marketplace (game & avatar), & I can't join anybody's games. So, I looked up some info about it & found out that somewhere along the lines of 2-7 AM you can have unlimited "downloading" so I'm wondering #1 is this true & #2 would I be able to stream netflix, download/play on xbox live, use youtube on my laptop, etc. during this time period? I need an answer asap so we can either get a refund asap or wait until our rebate to cancel it (if live works during the night I'm willing to become a vampire, lol). Thanks.

(cos im like if you need space, then why you calling me....for the record, i never once called or texted him first). so the two of us ended up hanging out this weekend (we both had tickets we bought months ago to a concert) and neither of us wanted to part with the ticket, and it was an all day even, we spent 10hrs together, and had a blast......but i felt as tho i had to initiate something....so when he dropped me off , i did. i told him "i dont think we should talk anymore until you figure out what you wanna do, i dont wanna sit around waiting, this is torturing me not being together, but you calling every day." so i told him and i can see his heart sunk, his eyes welled up with tears.....that he was not happy. i know some of his friends and theyve been telling me for the past couple days at work, he looks like shit....like he hasnt slept...and he seems in a daze/deep in thought. so i guess this really took a toll on him. now the question is........im suffering right now. i love him so much, and i know deep down inside we were meant to be together.....how can i get him back. is there anything i can do more, to win him back. or is what im doing already good enough to get him to see life w/o me and to help him get a move on with his ending of this lame ass childish break. any and all advice is welcome.

So...I'm a junior in high school trying desperately trying to find the right college(s) for me. And man is it hard!! lol I know I don't have to stress about it YET, but I am getting towards the end of my high school career.
Anyway, I'm a good student, a 3.9 GPA, multiple honors classes, etc. I want to be a physician (positive about this:) I live in northern VA. I'm torn whether to go to school in the south (to stay colse-ish) or if I should just "pack up and leave" ya' know and just go to school somewhere in New England or Mid-Atlantic, etc. In one way I want to stay close to my home state and in another way I just want to get out go somewhere far away....I don't know...
My question is: How did you find the right college? How do you find out which part of the country you should go to college in? What resources did you use? Etc. Please give all advice you have on the subject!
